Managing Information with EndNote In-Person
A 3 hour workshop that will take you from the basic to the more advanced features of EndNote referencing software. This workshop is essential for HDR students and will count towards the 5 Generic Skills Workshops that they are required to complete as part of their candidature. Content will include:
- What EndNote (EN) X8 is and why it's useful
- How to set up your own EN library/database
- How to enter a number of different reference types manually
- How to search CDU databases for references on particular research topics
- How to download records from relevant databases into your EndNote Library
- How to create a bibliography of the results using your preferred style
- How to link your Word manuscript to your Library and insert in-text citations and update your bibliography as you go
