Advanced Information Skills Workshop In-Person
The AIS Workshop will introduce researchers to key online resources for carrying out a literature review accessible through the Library, nd will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of research discovery. It is essential for new HDR students and will count towards the 5 Generic Skills Workshops that they are required to complete as part of their candidature.
Workshop content will include:
- an introduction to Library tools such as Library Search and subject guides
- an introduction to the suite of journal databases including citation Indexes and theses databases, including hands-on time to search them
- an introduction to the Interlibrary Loans Service.
