Managing Information with EndNote In-Person

A 3 hour workshop that will take you from the basic to the more advanced features of EndNote referencing software. This workshop is essential for HDR students and will count towards the 5 Research Enhancement Program workshops that they are required to complete as part of their candidature. It targets those with no or a basic knowledge of the software. Content will include:

  •     Introduce you to EndNote referencing software and why it's useful for you
  •     How to set up your own EN library/database
  •     How to enter a number of different reference types manually
  •     How to search CDU databases for references on particular research topics
  •     How to download records from relevant databases into your EndNote Library
  •     How to create a bibliography of the results using your preferred style
  •     How to link your Word manuscript to your Library and insert in-text citations and update your bibliography as you go
