Copyright for Researchers In-Person
This Workshop targets HDR Students and Research Staff and amonst other things, will explain:
- what copyright is, and when you need to seek permissions to use work created by others in your thesis or in a publication
- the permissions that you will need to obtain from the publisher to include articles in a PhD by Publication
- the concepts of Fair Dealing, Moral Rights and Public Domain
- how to interpret Publisher Agreements
- how Creative Commons licences work
Please bring along examples of any copyright issues you may be facing.
Individual appointments are available immediately after the Workshop.
